Change zur Theokratie

Wie viele Präsidenten haben es in der Vergangenheit geschafft, ihre Wähler schon vor Amtsantritt so maßlos zu enttäuschen, wie Barack Obama? Change, also Wandel, Veränderung, hatte er den Amerikanern versprochen. Nach den langen Bush-Jahren hatten dabei viele Wähler auch eine Veränderung weg von der religiösen Rechten erhofft, hin zu einer Politik - auch wenn die Demokraten alles andere als Liberal sind - die auch die Interessen von Minderheiten berücksichtigt. Oder mindestens hin zu einer Politik die wenigstens nicht Teile der Bevölkerung ausgrenzt und absichtlich diskriminiert.
Doch Obama scheint sich den Wandel ganz anders vorzustellen. Verändern möchte er offenbar die Demokraten. Auch hier sollen in Zukunft religiös verbrämte Faschisten den Ton angeben. Anders jedenfalls lässt sich die Wahl Rick Warrens für die Inauguration kaum erklären.

Die Russen lästern zur Zeit über Obama das er mit seinem "Change" -Slogan genau wie Gorbachev mit "Perestroika" völlig scheitern wird.
